Information Vocal microphones
Our selection of vocal microphones offers top quality for both studio recordings and live performances
Bring your vocal performance to life with vocal microphones from DMR Electronics. Whether you're on stage in front of a live audience or working in the controlled environment of a studio; the right microphone is essential to capture the dynamics and emotion of your voice. We offer a carefully selected range that excels in clarity and reliable sound quality.
Professional vocal recording for every artist
Our collection includes various types of microphones that are specifically designed to meet the demands of singers and vocalists. We carry renowned brands such as IMG Stageline and ECM, which are known for their excellent value for money:
- Dynamic vocal microphones: The standard for live performances. These are extremely robust, insensitive to feedback and can handle high sound levels without distortion.
- Condenser Vocal Microphones: Perfect for studio use or sophisticated acoustic sessions. They offer a very detailed and transparent sound for a true-to-life registration.
- Handheld & Wireless: Maximum freedom of movement on stage while maintaining stable and professional audio quality.
Clear and detailed sound reproduction
A good vocal microphone accentuates the strengths of your voice and minimizes unwanted noise. The models in our range are equipped with advanced capsules that are specifically tailored to the human voice. Whether you are looking for that classic warm sound or a modern, crystal clear presentation; our products provide the necessary tools to capture every nuance of your performance.
Durability for intensive use
At DMR Electronics we understand that vocal microphones must be able to take a beating, especially during on-the-road use. That is why we only select products with a sturdy housing and reliable electronics. Invest in hardware that not only sounds good today, but will deliver the same consistent performance after countless gigs and recording sessions.
Frequently asked questions about vocal microphones (FAQ)
- Which microphone do I need to prevent feedback on stage?
For live use, a dynamic microphone with a cardioid or super-cardioid polar pattern is the best choice. This mainly picks up sound from the front and ignores sound from the sides and back, which significantly reduces the chance of feedback.
- Can I also use a studio microphone live?
Although some condenser microphones are built specifically for live use, most studio models are too fragile and sensitive for stage use. For the best results on a loud stage, we always recommend a dynamic handheld microphone.
- Do I need phantom power for my vocal microphone?
This depends on the type. Dynamic microphones do not require a power supply. However, condenser microphones require phantom power (+48V) from your mixing console or audio interface to function.
