This smart radio mixer combines proven, extremely low-noise analog circuitry with a powerful, integrated USB control section. With 4 independent USB stereo channels and 2 built-in telephone hybrids, this robust 19-inch mixing console is the perfect match for radio stations that make extensive use of play-out software and want to stream directly to the internet.

The console is housed in a heavy-duty RF-shielded chassis that can be seamlessly recessed into studio furniture (drop-through) and is fully modularly expandable for the growing studio.

The reliable workhorse for the self-producing DJ

With the D&R AIRENCE-USB you get a professional, modern split version of a radio production mixer. The console was designed with the demanding radio maker in mind and excels in clarity and ease of use. The main unit has 4 balanced microphone inputs with inserts for external signal processors, 6 stereo line inputs and a 48 V phantom power supply. All microphone channels are also equipped with internal low-cut jumpers to immediately eliminate unwanted low-frequency noise. Thanks to the mechanical start faders and the illuminated ON buttons, you can start tracks from your play-out software at exactly the right time.

Extensive master section designed for radio

The master section of the AIRENCE-USB offers all the essential functions that a professional live broadcast or voice-track session requires. In addition to the smooth 100 mm stereo master faders, aux sends/returns and a powerful headphone output with split listening function (Cue), there is an active mute control. This "Mute Active" function automatically lowers the level in the control room when the DJ microphone is opened to prevent feedback. The sub output allows you to seamlessly perform production work and voice tracking while the main station remains live on-air in non-stop mode. With the large central Talkback switch and the built-in electret microphone you can communicate smoothly with callers or studio guests.

Smart HID software and visual control

The AIRENCE-USB communicates with your PC based on the universal USB HID protocol. This means that the mixer not only sends commands to your software, but you can also use the included software application to create a beautiful, high-resolution PPM meter on an external screen. Without additional hardware, you can immediately see the exact levels of the main program and sub-outputs. In addition, this application displays a professional radio clock that is accurately synchronized with an NTP server via the Internet, so that your broadcast is always exactly on time.

Durable, efficient and redundant

Each AIRENCE-USB unit is individually powered by a modern, digitally switched external power supply. This guarantees high efficiency and minimal power consumption. Because the power supply is external, it is also very easy to connect a second, optional power supply for complete power redundancy. If you need more inputs in the future, you can simply add the AIRENCE-EXT expansion unit. The Cue bus connects directly, so that your newly started mixing console will never become outdated.
