The GCBB-100B caster wheel offers the perfect balance between mechanical strength and driving comfort. The basis of this castor was developed by Blickle, a global market leader in the field of wheels and rollers. With a wheel diameter of 100 mm and a total height of 125 mm, this wheel is the industry standard for the entertainment industry, stand construction and logistics applications.
Superior driving comfort and streak-free running characteristics
The tread of the GCBB-100B wheel is made of a special blue elastic natural rubber. This material has a very high elasticity, allowing the wheel to roll effortlessly over small thresholds, cables and bumps without transmitting vibrations to your valuable equipment. Because the rubber is completely non-marking (stripe-free), you can safely move flight cases or speakers over exhibition floors, sports hall floors or wooden stage parts without leaving black stripes. The wheel features a robust plain bearing in the wheel axle, while the swivel ring in the fork is guided by a smooth double ball bearing for effortless 360-degree rotation.
Integrated brake and robust galvanized chassis
Safety on the work floor or stage is essential. The GCBB-100B is therefore equipped with a sturdy, foot-operated brake. Once the brake is activated, both the turning movement of the wheel and the pivoting movement of the fork are effectively blocked. This keeps your speaker set or equipment stack rock solid, even on sloping surfaces. The complete metal frame and mounting plate are high-quality electrolytically galvanized. This zinc layer effectively protects the material against scratches, weather influences and rust formation, which significantly extends its lifespan.
Simple and solid mounting
With a sturdy mounting surface (support area) of 100 x 85 mm, the castor can be securely screwed under any wooden or metal base plate. Thanks to the four universal mounting holes, you can optimally distribute the pressure over the housing of your flight case or speaker. With a net weight of only 844 grams, the wheel hardly adds unnecessary weight, while it can carry an impressive static and dynamic load of up to 150 kg.
